How to get mail alerts on your mobile

E-mails (or Electronic mail) are becoming an important part of our life. It is a core means of Communication available nowadays. It enables you to share anything digitally.. (from a simple text message to any huge data file). Almost every person in the world has at least one email-id associated with him or her.!! [I have 5 id's ..]

 E-mail systems are based over the Internet and was invented by Sir Ray Tomlinson in 1971. [Did you know that..?? hmm..]

Mail alerts can be recieved for free using way2sms.com which is a popular site used for sending free messages from internet to mobile.




Steps for getting Mail alerts as follows :




1. Login to Way2sms.com, if you don't have an account you can sign up from website's homepage.]

2.After Logging in..Click on "Mail Alerts" Tab. and.copy your email forwarding addess. [As shown in the image below]

3.Now login to any Email Service Provider you use. ( such as yahoo / Gmail / hotmail / rediff Mail )

4. Open Settings then Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP..

5. After then "Add a forwarding address" which we have copied earlier. Click on 'Next' & then 'Proceed'.

6. Email service provider will send an Confirmation code on your forwarding Email address for verification purpose.




7. Copy your Confirmation code and Paste it in the  "forwarding and POP/IMAP" settings and click on verify.
